Inter are looking to sell Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen in the upcoming January transfer window and are considering different exchange deals, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the Milanese club are not interested in loaning out the 28-year-old Dane, who is contracted to the side until 2024, and are only looking for a permanent deal for the player.

In the summer there was talk of a possible exchange between Marcelo Brozovic and Paris Saint-Germain’s Leandro Paredes, but the Argentinian midfielder did not want to temporarily move, the report continues.

A potential swap deal could take place, although it seems more likely that the former Tottenham player will find his new home back in England.

Arsenal listened to the idea of exchanging Eriksen for Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka through an intermediary, and Chelsea are less interested.

Inter are also fans of Manchester United’s Fred, but the player is a regular starter for the Red Devils.
