Inter are interested in exchanging Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen with Paris Saint-Germain’s Leandro Paredes, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset earlier today.

The report details how coach Antonio Conte is clearly not impressed with the 28-year-old Dane, who signed from Tottenham in the January transfer window.

The player has failed to adapt to the 51-year-old Italian’s tactical system and has seemed invisible when played this season, not contributing to a goal in seven appearances.

Paredes is a player that Conte has been a fan of for a while, the report continues, and he could be the player to strengthen the Milanese club’s defense.

The idea of exchanging Eriksen for the Argentinian midfielder is an attractive one to Inter, who are looking to make the deal in January.

The 26-year-old Paredes, who is contracted to PSG until 2023, has made six appearances across all competitions so far this season.
