It is becoming increasingly likely that Stefano Sensi will be able to make a return to action for Inter this weekend according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

The injury prone central midfielder trained alongside the rest of his teammates earlier on today in preparation for tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League group stage match with Real Madrid as he continues his recovery from the latest injury in a long line of injuries that he has had since his arrival at Inter.

The 25-year-old has been limited to just three appearances across all competitions to date due to injury but it is increasingly probable that he will be available for selection to take on his former employers Sassuolo on Saturday afternoon.

Since joining Inter, the Italian national team player has made 22 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park he has scored three goals and provided his teammates with four assists.
