Inter wing-back Achraf Hakimi must get used to criticism according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
When Inter took on Real Madrid at the start of the month, Hakimi had a night to forget. Hakimi was very seldom dangerous and also played a poor back pass which Karim Benzema capitalised on and gave Real Madrid the lead.
Tonight when the sides meet again on match day four of the UEFA Champions League group stage, Hakimi could find himself coming up against a very tricky opponent in Eden Hazard.
In addition to Hazard, Hakimi will also have to deal with Ferland Mendy. It is important that Hakimi can be dangerous tonight and get in behind Mendy otherwise it will be difficult for Inter to be dominant in the match at San Siro.
Since joining Inter in a deal worth €45 million in the Summer, the Moroccan national team player has made 10 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided three assists for his teammates.
