Inter striker Romelu Lukaku has refused to choose between whether or not he would rather win the European Championship’s with Belgium next Summer or the Serie A title with Inter.

“Win the European Championship or Scudetto? Both. I can’t choose, I can win both,” the prolific Belgian national team striker explained in an interview with sports broadcaster ESPN, which they shared on their online edition.

Lukaku also went on to sing the praises of Belgian national team boss Roberto Martinez for changing the system that the Red Devils play with.

“Martinez has changed the three man defence system that previously existed which enables him to include a great number of attacking players.”

The former Manchester United player, who is into his second season with Inter, also spoke on one of his footballing idols when he was growing up, former Belgian national team teammate Vincent Kompany.

“He was my idol, my inspiration. He played for Anderlecht, the team I cheered for as a child, and I wanted to emulate him. Since I was a child, I had the ambition to do something that no Belgian forward had ever done.”

Lukaku joined Inter in a club record €65 million transfer deal in the Summer of 2019 and has been absolutely clinical in front of goal during his time so far with Inter.

The 27-year-old has made 61 appearances across all competitions for Inter, during which he has tallied 43 goals and provided eight assists for his teammates.
