Inter central midfielder Arturo Vidal has become just the third player in the history of the Champions League to have been sent off for three different teams in the competition, sports data and analytics company Opta have highlighted.
Vidal was handed a red card by referee Anthony Taylor in Inter’s 2-0 loss to Real Madrid on Wednesday night at San Siro.
The Chilean national team player, who joined Inter in the Summer, has also been sent off in the Champions League for both Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
The only other players to have done this are Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Patrick Vieira.
