Five clubs are in the running to sign Inter attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
A January transfer window departure seems likely for the Danish national team player, who was left humiliated by Inter manager Antonio Conte’s decision to field him for the final four minutes of the UEFA Champions League match with Real Madrid a few days ago.
The report claims that this situation could be the straw the breaks the camels back if it was not already broken.
Real Madrid are one of the five candidates in the running to bring in Eriksen whilst the four other clubs all have players that Inter could potentially set-up a swap deal for.
Arsenal are interested and have Granit Xhaka, Paris Saint-Germain have Leandro Paredes, Manchester United have Fred and Bayern Munich have Corentin Tolisso.
This season Eriksen has made eight appearances across all competitions to date but has not made any goal contributions.
