Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus discussed next week’s Champions League clash against Inter in an interview on the club’s official site earlier today.
“Tuesday we will have the opportunity at home to reach the next round, it is our primary goal.”
Inter are currently bottom of their Champions League group after four games, drawing to Borussia Monchengladbach and Shakhtar Donetsk and losing twice in back to back clashes against Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Next week’s game against the Bundesliga side is a must win encounter for Antonio Conte’s side if they want any hope of progressing to the next round of the competition.
After the mid-week defeat to Los Blancos, the Nerazzurri bounced back with an emphatic win against third place Sassuolo, a win that saw the Milanese club rise to second in the league table.
Inter now sit five points behind rivals and league leaders AC Milan, who beat Fiorentina earlier today.
The Nerazzurri’s next game is against 10th place Bologna next weekend. They have won three of their last five, shaking off a poor start to the season.
