Italian journalist and Telelombardia director Fabio Ravezzani commented on Inter coach Antonio Conte’s comments about their loss to Real Madrid last week in a post on his Twitter page yesterday.
The Milanese club struggled to impress against Los Blancos on the European stage, conceding a penalty less than ten minutes in.
Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal was sent off in the 33rd minute for a baffling argument with the referee, before Achraf Hakimi scored an own goal to end the game.
Ravezzani discussed Conte’s comments, saying:
“Count thus justifies the defeat against Real Madrid, a penalty against after 5 minutes and after 20 minutes as 10 against a big team, ‘we were good, we gave everything’.
“As if the 2 facts were not the fault of the team, but of unpredictable climatic events. Hmm.”
Mah…
