Andrea Pinamonti will be unavailable for Inter for tonight’s penultimate UEFA Champions League group stage clash versus Borussia Monchengladbach according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInter1908.it.
The striker returned from the Italian under 21 national team having sustained a blow to his ankle in their match versus Luxembourg.
Inter’s medical staff examined the condition of Pinamonti and whilst they were able to rule out any serious injury, the player is still in the process of recovering from the blow he sustained which left him with a hematoma on his ankle.
As a result of this, the 21-year-old is unable to be at the disposal of Inter manager Antonio Conte for the match which Inter have to win in order to stand any chance of progression into the next round of the competition.
Inter have picked up just two points from a possible 12 in the competition and have to win both of their final games and have another result in the group go in their favour in order to make it to the knockout stages.
