There are three ways that Inter can qualify for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.
Inter have collected just two points from a possible 12 available to them in the group stage of the competition and whilst the odds are undoubtedly stacked against Inter, there are a few combinations in terms of results, that can lead Antonio Conte’s men into the next round for the first time in several years.
The first way is winning both of their final games that come against Borussia Monchengladbach and Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Madrid do the same against the Germans and Ukrainaians.
The second way is by beating both Borussia Monchengladbach and Shakthar Donetsk and Real Madrid only managing to beat Borussia Monchengladbach.
The third way is for Inter to win both of their remaining games and Real Madrid lose both of their matches.
