Alessandro Bastoni and Lautaro Martinez were Inter’s worst performing players in last night’s crucial 3-2 win over Borussia Monchengladbach in the UEFA Champions League according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The highly rated Italian national team defender had a night to forget in Germany with him making a number of mistakes and not doing as well as he should have in certain situations and as a result he has been given a rating of 5.5/10.
Lautaro also received the same rating due to failing to make the most of several goalscoring opportunities.
Club captain Samir Handanovic, Milan Skriniar, Ashley Young and Alexis Sanchez all meanwhile received ratings of 6/10.
Stefan de Vrij, Achraf Hakimi, Nicolo Barella and Roberto Gagliardini’s performances were all rated 6.5/10 by the Rome based news outlet.
Marcelo Brozovic received a rating of 7/10 for his efforts upon his return to action after having had COVID-19 whilst the best performance on the night belonged to Romelu Lukaku who got a rating of 8/10.
