Inter are among the list of clubs interested in signing Genoa midfielder Nicolò Rovella, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how the 19-year-old Italian defensive midfielder, who is contracted to the Rossoblu until the end of the season, has been a strong performer for the Ligurian side this season under coach Rolando Maran.
Rovella has made six appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 476 minutes. In that time, he has picked up one yellow card and helped the side keep one clean sheet.
The Nerazzurri are looking for a new defensive midfielder in January, with Conte only finding Roberto Gagliardini in that role, and Rovella is a strong option.
Other top clubs are also interested in him, considering that his contract expires at the end of the season and a renewal does not seem close.
