Inter are in pole position to sign young and exciting Fluminense forward Marcos Paulo, according to a report from Italian media outlet GianlucaDiMarzio.com earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri have been following the 19-year-old Brazilian forward for three years now and are hoping to sign him next summer.

The player has a Portuguese passport, making him an EU citizen and therefore allowing him to fit into the squad more easily.

Marcos Paulo’s contract expires with Fluminense at the end of this season and the Nerazzurri are currently in talks with him in order to reach an agreement ahead of their competition.

The 19-year-old Brazilian forward has made 30 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1595 minutes.

In that time, he has scored three goals and provided four assists, mostly featuring as a left winger although he is also comfortable on the right and up front.
