Inter manager Antonio Conte’s fate will be determined by how Inter fare in Serie A this season following their recent elimination from the UEFA Champions League and European football entirely according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The pact agreed between Inter president Steven Zhang, Conte, Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta, Inter chief executive Alessandro Antonello and sporting director Piero Ausilio has managed to withstand the exit from European football.

Come the end of this season, if things have gone badly, Conte will have just one year left on his contract meaning it will be more financially sustainable to part ways with him especially compared to how much it would have cost back in August.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to add that whilst there is profound disappointment at Inter following elimination from European football but sums will only be made at the end of the season.
