Christian Eriksen has asked to leave Inter having grown tired of being rejected by Inter manager Antonio Conte according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Danish national team player may even be open to leaving Inter on loan seeing as all he is interested in at the moment is playing and playing regularly.

Inter’s economic situation would suggest they would want a permanent sale or even a swap deal. Eriksen is understood to like the idea of a move to Paris Saint-Germain therefore a swap deal could be set-up with them that would see Leandro Paredes, who Inter have liked for years, head in the opposite direction.

The report goes on to highlight that should Eriksen leave in January, he and Inter would both suffer financially. Eriksen would lose out on the benefits of the Italian tax laws relating to foreign players whilst Inter would see the burdens linked to the tax authorities doubled.
