Legendary Inter central midfielder Lothar Matthaus has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to celebrate his inclusion in the Balon d’Or dream team first team compiled by France Football.
The former German national team player is one of two former Inter players who feature in the Balon d’Or dream team first team with the other player being former striker Il Fenomeno, Ronaldo.
The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Pele and the late Diego Armando Maradona all also feature.
He posted: “Thanks for the honour.”
