Inter manager Antonio Conte will not take any risks with Arturo Vidal and therefore will not play him in this Sunday’s Serie A match at home to newly promoted Spezia according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
The Chilean national team central midfielder has been sidelined by injury since practically the start of the month after he picked up an injury in Inter’s win over Bologna and he has not featured since.
Whilst the player is wanting to get back out on the pitch, the report states that Conte is not wanting to take risks and therefore Vidal could make a return to action on Inter’s match away to Hellas Verona on December 23.
Vidal, who arrived at Inter in the Summer transfer window from La Liga side Barcelona, has made 14 appearances acoss all competitions to date. In his time on the park, he has not scored but has provided two assists.
