Spezia will have a long list of absentees for this weekend’s Serie A match away to Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.
Centre back Julian Chabot picked up another booking in last night’s 2-2 draw at home to Bologna and as a result he has hit the number of yellow cards required to be handed an automatic one match suspension.
The German defender, who is on loan at the newly promoted side from fellow Serie A club Sampdoria, will be one of no less than eight players that the Liguria based side will have to do without for an extremely tough test against an Inter side sitting just one point off of top spot in the standings after 11 games played.
In addition to Chabot, Spezia manager Vincenzo Italiano will have to do without Jeroen Zoet, Daniele Verde, Juan Manuel Ramos, Federico Mattiello, Andrey Galabinov, Cristian Dell’Orco and Elio Capradossi
