Whilst Samir Handanovic was back at his best in the win over Napoli, it has not changed the fact that he will soon have to step aside and be replaced according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The Inter number one goalkeeper made several key saves in the 1-0 win over the Azzurri at San Siro but he is now 36-years-old and Inter are looking around for a long term replacement for him.
The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to point out that Inter are thinking about signing Cagliari and Italy goalkeeper Alessio Cragno.
Cagliari meanwhile continue to want Inter central midfielder Radja Nainggolan and the report goes on to conclude that it cannot be ruled out that an agreement could be reached that would make all parties happy and Cragno could even stay at Cagliari on a temporary basis.
