It will be difficult for Inter and Cagliari to come to an agreement over Radja Nainggolan according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
A loan deal is difficult due to Nainggolan’s salary as is an outright transfer. Nainggolan spent last season on loan with the Sardinia based club and came close to completing a permanent switch to them at the end of the last transfer window but the deal never came to fruition.
The report goes on to explain that Alessio Cragno and Leonardo Pavoletti have been rejected as potential counterparts whilst youngster Riccardo Ladinetti remains as a potential counterpart that Cagliari could offer in a deal to Inter for Nainggolan. It will however be hard for the clubs to match the evaluations of the players.
This season former Belgian national team player Nainggolan has made just five appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has failed to make any goal contributions.
