Inter have identified young player to send to Atalanta in order to get a deal for Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gomez done according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.
Atalanta are open to selling their club captain following a breakdown in relations and are asking for a sum of €10 million for him.
This amount is, however, too much at this time considering the financial constraints that clubs find themselves under due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is for this reason that Inter are thinking of bridging the gap between what they are prepared to pay and what Atalanta want by offering a player.
The report goes on to explain that Inter are prepared to offer Primavera talent Gateano Oristanio to the Bergamo based club and that Atalanta like the player.
Oristanio’s representatives can boast good relations with Atalanta and in short everything is there for a deal to be reached.
Papu Gomez is meanwhile ready to move to Inter on a two and a half year deal worth €2.5 million a year plus add-ons.
