Juventus are on the brink of completing a deal to sign Genoa’s highly rated teenager Nicolo Rovella according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
As per the report from the Milan based news outlet, Juventus are set to sign Rovella from Genoa in a €10 million deal that will be finalised in the next few hours.
Rovella will become a Juventus player but will be loaned back to current club Genoa for the next two seasons in order to continue his development as a player.
Genoa and Juventus still have some work to do until the deal can be made official. Firstly, Rovella will have to renew his contract with Genoa, which is due to expire at the end of this season.
Juventus have managed to fend of competition from Inter for the highly rated youngster who is having a breakthrough season at the Rossoblu club.
