Inter and Cagliari have a gentleman’s agreement over Radja Nainggolan according to a report from Italian news outlet Nerazzurrisiamonoi.it.

Nainggolan has just completed a retun to Cagliari on loan for the remainder of this season and as per this report, the gentleman’s agreement relates to his future and there are three possible outcomes.

The first outcome is that Nainggolan returns to Inter once the loan deal expires although this is viewed as the least likely outcome.

The second outcome is that Cagliari sign Nainggolan outright from Inter for a sum of €8 million plus youngster Riccardo Ladinetti. Cagliari have in fact already sent this offer to Inter.

The third and final outcome is that if Nainggolan is valued at between €8-10 million, Inter will be granted discounts on some of Cagliari’s players like Alessio Cragno, Nahitan Nandez and Sebastian Walukiewicz, although discounts for other Cagliari players cannot be ruled out.

Nainggolan made just five appearances for Inter this season. All five of the Belgian’s appearances came off the substitutes bench and in a total of 45 minutes on the field, he has failed to make any goal contributions.
