Antonio Conte is expected to make one change to his starting XI when Inter host Crotone in their first match of 2021.

Serie A resumes on Sunday with the Nerazzurri just one point behind league leaders AC Milan after ending last year with seven straight wins.

Inter will play five matches in 17 days starting on Sunday but Conte does not intend to rest any first-choice options against Giovanni Stroppa’s side.

According to Gazzetta.it, Arturo Vidal will return to the line-up in midfield and make his first start in almost a month, replacing Ivan Perisic.

Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella will partner the Chilean international in midfield with Achraf Hakimi and Ashley Young completing Conte’s five-man midfield.

Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez will start up front although Alexis Sanchez is expected to return to the bench after injury.

Inter’s seven-game winning streak in the league has seen them beat Torino, Sassuolo, Bologna, Cagliari, Napoli, Spezia and Hellas Verona respectively.
