Juventus are close to securing a deal for Inter linked midfielder Nicolò Rovella, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how the Bianconeri are incredibly close to securing the 19-year-old Italian’s signature, with an official move likely to take place in the first week of the transfer window, which opens next week.
The idea is that Juventus will sign Rovella, then send him back to Genoa on loan until the end of the season, similar to what the Bianconeri did with Parma for Dejan Kulusevski in last January’s transfer window.
The deal between Genoa and Juve is worth around €10 million, which could rise with bonuses, but also includes players in exchange, like Manolo Portanova and other layers from the Under-23 squad.
Rovella has made eight appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 574 minutes. His strong performances as a defensive midfielder attracted the attention of Antonio Conte’s Inter, but the Milanese club cannot afford to make investments this window without first selling.
