Italian journalist Carlo Laudisa discussed Inter’s impressive 6-2 win over Crotone earlier today in a post on his Twitter page after the game.
Antonio Conte’s side did not start the game well, with the Calabrian side taking the lead after only 12 minutes, taking advantage of some poor defending on the corner to open to scoring.
Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez quickly struck back less than 10 minutes later, with Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku playing a sweet ball to the 23-year-old.
An own goal by Crotone put the Nerazzurri ahead, but Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal gave away a penalty only five minutes later, again letting the game tie up at 2-2.
Conte’s side looked like a different team in the second half, again taking the lead thanks to Lautaro Martinez, before the team’s intensity overwhelmed the Calabrian side.
The game finished 6-2, an impressive score line as Inter secure their eighth consecutive win in the league.
Laudisa discussed the game in a Tweet, saying:
“Inter’s comeback is sensational. From 2-2 to 6-2 against Crotone. With Lautaro’s hattrick comes the eight win in a row and the lead in the table, but Lukaku leaves the pitch with an injury.”
