Inter have formally announced the departure of central midfielder Radja Nainggolan to fellow Serie A club Cagliari.

Inter have confirmed through a statement posted on the club’s official website that the former Belgian national team player has joined the Rossoblu club on a loan deal until the end of the current season.

Cagliari announced the signing of Nainggolan on loan a few days ago but Inter have opted to wait until the opening of the January transfer window to officially announce his departure from the club on a temporary basis.

Nainggolan has joined Cagliari on a straight loan but various reports in the media as have stated that Cagliari have promised Inter that they will sign him on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

Nainggolan joined Inter back in the summer of 2018 from Roma. He has since went on to make 41 appearances for the club, in which he has scored seven goals and provided three assists.
