The match official assignments for the coming round of Serie A action have been announced with Paolo Valeri assigned to referee Inter’s match away to Sampdoria.
42-year-old Valeri has been a referee in Serie A since 2007 and he has refereed a total of eight matches across all competitions during the course of the 2020-21 season.
Whilst he has not refereed Wednesday’s hosts Sampdoria this season, he has already refereed Inter on one occasion when he oversaw the Nerazzurri’s 3-1 home win over Bologna on match day 10.
Matteo Passeri and Mauro Vivenzi will be assistant referees whilst Davide Massa will be the fourth official for the match at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, scheduled to kick off at 3pm local time.
Daniele Chiffi will be in charge of VAR and he will be assisted on the day by Giacomo Paganessi.
Inter head into this match sitting in second place and will be seeking a ninth straight win in the league, whilst Sampdoria are sitting in 11th place.
