Alexis Sanchez was Inter’s worst performing player in the Nerazzurri’s defeat at Sampdoria yesterday, according to an Italian media report today.
Sanchez was drafted into the starting line-up to take the place of Romelu Lukaku and had the chance to give Inter the lead early on but saw his poor penalty saved by Sampdoria keeper Emil Audero.
The Chilean struggled to make a real impact in the game at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris as Inter’s eight-game winning run in Serie A was brought to a halt and was rated just 4.5/10 by Gazzetta dello Sport.
Achraf Hakimi and Stefan de Vrij were meanwhile Inter’s two best performing players with the Moroccan and Dutchman being handed ratings of 6.5/10 for their efforts in Genoa.
Second-half substitute Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez both got 6/10 whilst Samir Handanovic, Milan Skriniar, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Ashley Young, Ivan Perisic and Christian Eriksen all got 5.5/10.
Alessandro Bastoni and Roberto Gagliardini were given half marks.
