Stefan de Vrij was Inter’s best performing player in yesterday’s 2-1 Serie A defeat away to Sampdoria, according to a report in the Italian media.
The Dutch national team central defender scored the Nerazzurri’s only goal of the game on a rainy day at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris as Inter’s eight-game winning streak in Serie A came to an end.
De Vrij was given a rating of 7/10 in the player ratings for the match in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Achraf Hakimi was given a rating of 6.5/10 while Antonio Conte was rated 6/10.
Goalkeeper Samir Handanovic and defenders Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar were all rated just 5.5/10 for their performances.
Marcelo Brozovic, Lautaro Martinez, Romelu Lukaku and Christian Eriksen also receieved the same rating.
Nicolo Barella, Roberto Gagliardini, Ashley Young and Ivan Perisic were all rated just 5/10 but were not the worst performers on the day for the Nerazzurri.
Alexis Sanchez was the worst performer on the day with him being rated just 4.5/10.
