Inter are one of a quartet of clubs chasing the signature of highly rated Sampdoria midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard according to an Italian media report today.
Gazzetta dello Sport, through their online edition, report that Inter face competition from Serie A rivals AC Milan and Juventus, who have both tested the waters.
Moreover, Tottenham Hotspur are in for the Danish youngster and are described as being serious about wanting to bring him to north London.
The report explains that Spurs could even sign Damsgaard and then loan him back to La Samp to continue his development for a year.
Damsgaard only joined Sampdoria this past Summer but has shone under Claudio Ranieri at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. His value currently fluctuates between €18-20 million.
The former FC Nordsjaelland player, who is contract to La Samp through to the end of the 2023-24 season, has made 17 appearances across all competitions.
He has scored two goals and provided three assists this season.
