Christian Eriksen’s agent Martin Schoots is hard at work trying to find his client a new club according to an Italian media report today.

As per the Rome-based Corriere dello Sport’s print edition, Schoots has reached out to La Liga pair Barcelona and Real Madrid in a bid to find Eriksen a new club following a nightmare spell with Inter.

The report suggests that if Eriksen were to be available on a free loan basis, Real Madrid could be interested, despite the fact coach Zinedine Zidane does not play with a no. 10 in his system.

Inter are hopeful that Eriksen will be able to find a new club because he is not a key player to coach Antonio Conte, whose mind has not changed after the 28-year-old’s cameo appearance at Sampdoria on Wednesday and would not bat an eyelid if Eriksen left.

Paris Saint-Germain have been strongly linked with signing Eriksen but have not come forward for him as of yet with them seemingly focusing on signing Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli instead.

Alli moving to PSG could however open up the possibility for Danish international Eriksen to return to Spurs.

At the moment it is only a possibility, there are no negotiations.
