Arturo Vidal has promised Inter fans he will rediscover his killer instinct in front of goal after criticism on social media today.

The Chilean international has always been known for his goals from midfield yet since joining the Nerazzurri from Barcelona last summer, he has been unable to find the back of the net and make the contribution that many expected him to make.

The theme continued during yesterday’s 2-2 draw at Roma, when Vidal missed a gilt-edged chance to make it 3-1 and kill the game off during the second half.

One fan commented on the midfielder’s latest Instagram post to share his thoughts on the Chilean’s performance, writing: “You played better than last time [against Crotone], you ran for miles, but that chance…”

The former Bayern Munich player saw the post and he confidently responded: “Once I score one goal I’ll get 10 of them.”

Vidal, who is under contract with Inter until the end of next season, has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date this term.

In his time on the park, the 33-year-old has provided two assists.
