There have been no signs yet that Antonio Conte could sign a new contract with Inter thus far, according to an Italian media report.

In today’s print edition, Tuttosport point out that Conte has entered into the final 18 months of his contract and highlight that it is unlikely that Conte will go into next season with just one year left on his deal.

However, it is still too early to understand whether Conte has entered into the final period of his spell as Inter coach or not.

Amid ongoing corporate issues and the need to reduce costs and also limit spending on the transfer market, it is difficult for the club to carry out long-term planning, something that Conte is used to.

Everything is currently possible, even if new investors are to come in or there is to be a reshuffling at corporate level, and the report from the Turin newspaper hints that winning the Serie A title could well change the situation.

Conte took charge of Inter in the summer of 2019 and has won 44 of his 76 games in charge of Inter.
