Achraf Hakimi was still on a high more than 24 hours on from scoring in Inter’s 2-2 draw at Roma on Sunday.

The Moroccan full-back bagged his sixth goal of the season at the Stadio Olimpico with a beautiful left-footed effort that went in via the underside of the crossbar, handing the Nerazzurri a momentary 2-1 lead.

Antonio Conte’s side were unable to hold onto their advantage due to a late equaliser from Gianluca Mancini, but Hakimi’s performance was widely praised after the match as one of his best in an Inter shirt.

The 22-year-old took to Twitter on Monday night to share his joy at scoring in the rain, writing: “This feeling!”
