BC Partners are expected to make an offer to Suning to become shareholders at Inter in the next few weeks, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Corriere della Sera’s print edition, the British based international investment fund could make an offer and acquire either a minority or perhaps even majority stake in the Nerazzurri.

In fact, the report goes on to say that the chances of a change in ownership by the end of the season are increasing with each passing day.

The two bonds worth €375m will also play a role in determining how much Inter are valued at when it comes to any sale, with Suning likely to start from a figure around €750 million for the club.

In case of a change of ownership, LionRock Capital would maintain their 31% stake and the sale of Inter could even possibly put the positions of many people currently working at the club in question, including club chief executives Beppe Marotta, Alessandro Antonello and head coach Antonio Conte.
