AC Milan will be without their star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma for their upcoming Coppa Italia quarter-final clash against Inter.

Donnarumma has been handed a one-match suspension by Sports Judge Gerardo Mastrandrea after being sent off in their last 16 win over Torino on Tuesday.

The highly-rated Italian national team shot-stopper was dismissed while sitting on the substitutes bench after showing a disrespectful attitude to the referee in the tie at San Siro, which Stefano Pioli’s side won 5-4 on penalties.

Ciprian Tătăruşanu started for the Rossoneri in midweek and it can only be assumed that the experienced Romanian keeper, formerly of Fiorentina among others, will start against Inter as well.

The date for the Milan derby has not yet been set officially, although a recent report has suggested that the game will be played on Tuesday January 26 at San Siro, with Inter designated as the home side.
