Inter coach Antonio Conte is amongst the best coaches in the world and could make the difference against Juventus in the Derby d’Italia, journalist Fabrizio Biasin claims.

The two rivals meet at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Serie A on Sunday evening, with Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte looking to secure victory against his former club and maintain a push for the Scudetto.

Juventus, meanwhile, have seen their bid for a 10th consecutive league title falter after a slow start, prompting suggestions that Inter had closed the gap on the Bianconeri in Serie A.

Taking to Twitter, Biasin suggested that Juventus still had the strongest squad in Italy but were coming up against the best coach in the league in Conte, whilst heavy recruitment in the transfer market offered the opportunity to prove that they had reached the level of Juventus.

Inter are yet to beat Juventus under the reign of Conte and have not recorded a victory in the Derby d’Italia in over four years, but Biasin believed that the clash could come down to coaching prowess.

Biasin’s Tweet declared: “It is true that Juve are the strongest, but it’s also true that to try to fill that gap Inter have invested €200 million in the transfer market and have specifically chosen one of the best coaches in the world. Otherwise, we would say coaches count for nothing and that would be the end of it.”
