Inter misfit Christian Eriksen is said to be keen to return to Tottenham on loan as the Premier League side make their move.
The midfielder joined the Nerazzurri from Spurs in a €20m deal last January but has struggled to settle.
The Dane doesn’t have a natural place in Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system and CEO Giuseppe Marotta admitted he will be allowed to leave if the right offer comes in.
A quick return to Tottenham has been mooted and Sky Sports News reports that’s a move that the player would be keen on.
Inter would be willing to do a loan deal to put Eriksen in the shop window, particularly with Euro 2020 to come in the summer.
However, Sky reports that there have been no formal talks between the two clubs over a deal and the Serie A giants would demand a big loan fee.
West Ham United have also been linked while a reunion with Mauricio Pochettino at Paris Saint-Germain could also be on the cards.
