Alexis Sanchez trained apart from his Inter teammates today as the Nerazzurri continued their preparation for Saturday’s Serie A match at Udinese, according to a report from a leading Italian broadcaster.
As per Sky Sport Italia, the Chilean international worked separately at Appiano Gentile on Wednesday morning but he is expected to be fit for this weekend’s trip to the Dacia Arena.
There was said to be some concern over Sanchez’s physical condition after Inter’s 2-0 Derby d’Italia win over Juventus on Sunday, but Antonio Conte breathed a sigh of relief yesterday when it was discovered that the 32-year-old simply had fatigue in his thigh.
A report in this morning’s newspapers suggested Sanchez would adopt a cautious approach in training in the lead up to the match against Luca Gotti’s side and today’s training session would appear to confirm he is doing exactly that.
Sanchez played the final five minutes of last weekend’s victory against Juve when he replaced Lautaro Martinez.
