The agent of rumoured Inter target Olimpiu Morutan has described the Nerazzurri as ‘an enormous club’ and says anyone would be happy to sign for them.

Morutan usually plays as an attacking midfielder for Romanian side FCSB but is also capable of playing in central midfield or on the right wing.

Inter were linked with signing the highly-rated 21-year-old lately and in an interview with FCInterNews.it, Florin Vulturar has admitted that talks are taking place with two teams in Italy.

“We are talking to many clubs, including two Italian sides, but it would not be professional of me to tell you which ones they are,” he said.

Vulturar was then asked what he thinks of Inter and whether there are any plans to meet with the Nerazzurri to discuss a deal for Morutan.

“Inter are an enormous club with a fantastic history.

“Every player would be happy to play for the Nerazzurri.

“As I told you, I cannot reveal the name of the clubs that are after the player, but I will certainly go to Italy if the interest from one of those clubs becomes more concrete.”

Vulturar was then asked about the money that interested clubs can expect to pay for Morutan, who has 12 caps with Romania’s under-21 team, and admitted that FCSB have received an offer already and rejected it.

“At the moment an offer of €10 million has been received from the UAE, but the owner of the club has turned it down.

“We will see in the coming weeks what will happen and if Olimpiu’s next step were to be in Italy, he would be more than satisfied.

“Serie A is a league that he loves a lot and he likes your culture.”

Vulturar also praised Morutan and made some comparisons to similar players to him.

“He is an innate talent, probably the most technical Romanian player since Gheorghe Hagi.

“He is a pure number 10, capable of creating opportunities for his teammates, but who can also do well in the defensive phase of every match if necessary.

“He is fast, has a great vision and is good at passing.

“He easily surpasses his opponents in one-on-one situations.

“Paulo Dybala and Lionel Messi are the models to follow in his role, we can probably assimilate his style of play with the play of these players.”

This season Morutan, who is under contract with FCSB until 2023, has made 16 appearances across all competitions to date.

In his time on the pitch, he has scored three goals and provided three assists.
