Inter have decided that they will not allow Christian Eriksen to leave the club on a free loan deal in January, according to an Italian newspaper report today.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition, it will no longer be enough to just find a club willing to pay all his wages and take him on a free loan as Inter either want him to leave on paid loan or in a permanent deal.

Tottenham Hotspur continue to show an interest in bringing Eriksen back to the club but as things stand there is nothing concrete.

The report from the Milan-based newspaper goes on to explain that while Eriksen is very much on Inter’s transfer list, the Nerazzurri have removed Andrea Pinamonti from the market and he will stay with the club.

Pinamonti, like Eriksen, has been strongly linked with a departure from the club but the young Italian forward now appears set to remain a Nerazzurri player at least until the end of this season, despite struggling for game time under Antonio Conte so far.
