With plans afoot to update the club crest in the coming months, Inter have already been subjected to a leak of their new design by kit manufacturers Nike.

Reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, designs for a new emblem were published online via an image from Nike’s Twitter account.

Although the post was quickly deleted by the US manufacturing giants, screenshots were taken and revealed the design for the badge that is expected to be rolled out later in the year.

The letters ‘I’ and ‘M’ feature heavily with a strong emphasis on ‘Inter Milano’, whilst it is believed that an upcoming marketing campaign to promote the badge will focus on the tagline “I am Milano”.

Meanwhile, former Inter players and a select group of fans have been invited to be involved in the marketing campaign and will feature in a serious of advertising initiatives in the build up to the launch of the new crest.
