Inter are the most complete side in Serie A this season, at least in the eyes of legendary Italian coach Fabio Capello.
The Nerazzurri are two points behind league leaders AC Milan at the halfway stage of the campaign, following Saturday’s disappointing goalless draw at Udinese.
Capello has consistently argued throughout the season that Inter were favourites to win the Scudetto and the former England boss has not changed his mind after the stalemate at the Dacia Arena.
“The team with the most strong points is Inter, who have changed now and are no longer interested in having possession,” he explained in an interview with Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb’s radio station TMW Radio.
“They are not unbalanced like they were in the first part of the season, they are the league’s most complete and dangerous team.”
Capello was then asked who the best three players in Serie A currently are and he named Inter’s Nicolo Barella as one of them.
“Barella is the best, he resembles Marco Tardelli in terms of his dynamism and ability to read the game,” he argued.
“Then there is Gianluigi Donnarumma, who is very important for AC Milan, then on equal merit Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.”
Capello is just the latest in a long line of people to have applauded Italian international Barella, who has been in great form so far this season having taken his game to another level to become absolutely pivotal to Inter.
