Paolo Valeri has been appointed as the referee for tomorrow night’s Coppa Italia quarter—[[[[[final clash between city rivals Inter and AC Milan.

The 42-year-old, who has been a referee in Serie A since 2007, will be assisted by Stefano Del Giovane and Valerio Colarossi whilst the fourth official for the match will be Daniele Chiffi.

Luca Banti will be in charge of VAR at San Siro and he will have Giacomo Paganessi alongside him to help out.

Tomorrow’s match will be the 12th match across all competitions this term that Valeri is the referee for and it will be the third time he referees Inter this season and the second time he referees AC Milan.

Valeri refereed Inter’s 3-1 win at home to Bologna on match-day 10 and more recently their 2-1 loss to Sampdoria on match-day 16.

He also refereed AC Milan in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia versus Torino, a match which the Rossoneri won 5-4 on penalties.
