Inter have the joint-best win percentage at home in Serie A, and one of the best in Europe’s top five leagues, since the COVID-19 pandemic closed stadiums last year.

As per CIES Football Observatory‘s latest weekly report, the Nerazzurri have a winning percentage of 68.8% in the 16 home league games played behind closed doors since the pandemic began, the same winning percentage as both Roma and Atalanta.

Inter have drawn 18.8% and lost 12.4% of the remaining games.

Only Roma have lost less than Inter have with them having lost just 6.2%.

When it comes to all teams in Europe’s top five leagues, Atletico Madrid, who are coached by former Inter midfielder Diego Simeone, have the best winning percentage at home with them having turned the Wanda Metropolitano into a formidable fortress.

Los Colchoneros have won 86.7% of their 15 league matches played, which is 1% better than second placed Real Madrid and 3.4% better than third placed Bayern Munich.

Inter’s last home game saw them triumph 2-0 in the Derby d’Italia against Juventus.
