Inter’s victory over AC Milan in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals last night had enough drama for a Netflix series, Italian journalist and Nerazzurri supporter Fabrizio Biasin has joked.
There was no shortage of incident during the match at San Siro which saw Antonio Conte’s side run out 2-1 winners thanks to a stoppage-time free-kick from Christian Eriksen.
Biasin took to Twitter and proposed a three episode mini-series, all of which could have their own focal point.
The first episode would be on the bitter spat between Inter striker Romelu Lukaku and AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who squared up to one another before half-time and exchanged unpleasant words.
The second episode could relate to the issues that referee Paolo Valeri had in the match at San Siro, when he was forced to be substituted during the second half with an injury.
The third episode could be on Eriksen, scoring Inter’s 97th-minute winner after a month in which he has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.
Puntata 1: #Lukaku–#Ibra, lo scontro finale.
Puntata 2: il dramma di #Valeri.
Puntata 3: #Eriksen, l’ultima parabola.Se @NetflixIT ha due lire da spendere, #InterMilan di questa sera è una mini-serie già scritta. #InterMilan
