Fiorentina will be without a host of first team players when they welcome Inter to the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Serie A on Friday.
The Viola come into the match off the back of a 1-1 draw against Torino on Saturday after they conceded late on and finished the game with just nine men.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, the match against the Granata could prove costly for Fiorentina as they face a growing list of unavailable players for Inter’s trip.
Centre-back Nikola Milenkovic and midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli will both miss out after seeing red cards against Torino, whilst Igor remains a doubt after going off with injury.
However, should the Brazilian recover in time he is expected to replace Milenkovic, whilst Erick Pulgar is in line to step in for Castrovilli.
Meanwhile, new signings Kevin Malcuit and Aleksandr Kokorin face a race against time to reach match fitness, with the latter in particular a doubt after training alone since joining from Spartak Moscow.
