Antonio Conte will make six changes to the side that started Saturday’s win over Benevento for tonight’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg with Juventus, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport, Matteo Darmian and Alexis Sanchez will step in to replace suspended duo Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku.

Conte also intends to play his strongest three-man defence, which means Stefan de Vrij will return while Alessandro Bastoni makes his debut in the Coppa Italia this season, having not featured in either of Inter’s previous two games against Fiorentina and AC Milan.

Marcelo Brozovic will also come back into the starting line-up, as will Arturo Vidal and Ashley Young.

Along with Hakimi and Lukaku, the other men to drop out of the XI will be Andrea Ranocchia, Christian Eriksen, Roberto Gagliardini and Ivan Perisic.

Conte has a full squad available to him following Danilo D’Ambrosio’s recovery from a knee injury, but it is unlikely that the Italian will be included in the squad for tonight’s Derby d’Italia at San Siro.

It is however more probable that Matias Vecino will be in the squad to take on the Bianconeri, having made his return to competitive action with Inter’s Primavera side in a league game against Genoa last week.

Inter’s probable starting XI vs Juventus (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Brozovic, Vidal, Young; Sanchez, Lautaro.
